Audit Log Custom Columns

If you would like additional details logged into the Audit Log when a new item is created, edited or deleted add the Setting described below.

Also, ensure that a field column called “Additional Details” is added to the Audit Log. See below for the specification values you must use.

Setting up Additional Audit Log Items

Add a Setting which will include all the Lists and all the columns within those Lists that you want to add details from.

Setting Name: AuditLogCustomColumns
Setting Value: A list of list items and column names

As an example if you want the Interaction “Summary” added to the Additional Details column when an Interaction is manipulated and logged add “Summary” to the Audit list.

Add/modify the “AuditLogCustomColumns” setting to add this:

Ex. Interactions|Summary (First the list name | then the field column name(s) separated by commas.)

You can add multiple columns/lists, just separate them with a comma (and ensure you’ve added to the Audit list) as shown below. Each list name and associated field columns will be on its own row.
