The “Form Sections (Headers)” feature allows configuration of colours and headers in Flex New and Edit forms for any Flex list. The example below shows two different configurations of the New Task Form:
Form Sections (Headers) for New and Edit forms is controlled and configured within a choice Column Field called “Form Sections” which is added to each List. Each list item has its own Form Section column field.
This is where the Header Text colour, Section Headers, colours and collapsing (pinned) section settings for both New and Edit Forms is applied.
The following screen shot shows a Form Sections Column Field being applied to the Accounts List.
- The image on the left shows no Form Sections configuration.
- The image on the right shows the same Account form organized into 5 different sections with headers, colour and pinned sections applied.
Note: Display, Edit and New Forms can also be styled using the Custom Styling technique.
