Quick Search Configurations

Quick Search Label

This setting will allow for a change in the default Quick Search label being used.

Setting Name: QuickSearchLabel
Setting Value: FLEX SEARCH

Minimum Characters

This Setting specifies the number of characters that need to be present before the Quick Search will begin searching. The default and minimum allowed value is 2 (numeric value only).

Setting Name: QuickSearchMinCharactersForSearch
Setting Value: 2 (default)

Search Results Limit

The Quick Search limits the search results to 100 per item by default. If your system has potentially more than 100 items for a specific search query then add the following setting.

Setting Name: QuickSearchQueryRowLimit
Setting Value: Apply a value (example 200)

Shading Inactive Contacts

This Setting enables the shading of Contacts that have a status of “Inactive”, based on the Inactive or Status columns. The Setting Value is “False” by default. Set to “True” to enable the shading of inactive Contacts in the Quick Search.

Setting Name: QuickSearchShadeInactiveContacts
Setting Value: True/False

No Results Found

The two create new item options when no results are found are for Accounts and Leads.

Use these settings to turn these results options off.

Setting Name: QuickSearchShowNewAccountWhenNoResults
Setting Value: True/False (Default is True)

Setting Name: QuickSearchShowNewLeadWhenNoResults
Setting Value: True/False (Default is True)

Arranging Results

By default the search results will display child items indented and sorted alphabetically in relation to the parent Account. To reverse this behavior add this Setting with a value of False.

Setting Value: Default value True

List Value Width

The default value for the width of the List Name item is a numeric value of 270 pixels. To widen this field value add the following setting.

Setting Name: QuickSearchLinkColumnWidth
Setting Value: 270 is the default. Change to suit your needs.
