Before configuring a Sub-Grid, first review all the setting options covered in this section and consider how the user will want to use the information being displayed. For example, some Sub-Grid information should be in a collapsed state by default, maybe because it doesn’t contain data that is regularly used (or there are simply too many items to be realistically displayed on the page) whereas other Sub-Grids might be useful displaying only the most recent five (or other number) of items, such as a list of Interactions.
The Sub-Grid configuration settings can be viewed and managed within the Web Part properties editor. Settings are grouped by category for easy editing.
To access the editor, right-click on the green ‘up’ arrow in the header of the Sub-Grid to display the “Settings” Link (or use Tools, Edit Page) to access FlexSubGrid web part settings:
The arrow link requires the use of the “ShowWebPartSettingIcons” Advanced Flex Setting with a value of “True”.
FlexSubGrid web part properties editor will be displayed. Note that any changes to properties will not be enabled until the changes are saved and the page has been reloaded.
