Note: This feature was developed for a client in January 2016 and is now available should other customers find it useful.
If your company was to find it useful to have a number of fields set up as a tree form with two possible sub levels as shown below, this feature can be added with the setup instructions below.
Setting Name: TreeViewForChoiceColumns
Setting Value: List Name|Column Field Names separated by commas
When adding the column field that has multiple sub items do it as shown below.
In the screen shots above note that each sub item off the main column field has a dash at the sub header item. Underneath the dash item are sub items.

Flex Tree Fields (Enhanced/Collapsed)
The Flex Tree feature has been enhanced so that you can now determine if the fields should be collapsed or expanded by default.
Note: without this Setting the default behavior of this feature is to be collapsed.
Add a Setting as follows if you wish to have your Tree fields expanded:
Setting Name: TreeViewExpandByDefault
Setting Value: True
The value of True will instruct all Flex Tree fields to expand by default. To customize each Tree Field add this type of Value:
List Title|Column A, Column B
Example: Account|Source,Industry
This will expand the Source and Industry Tree fields but will not expand other Tree fields in Flex.
Add each list item to a new row.
