Accounts List Features

The Accounts List is the core Parent list in Flex. It is the primary Flex list which parents all of the child related list items (such as Contacts, Interactions, Opportunities, Projects, etc.).

From the Display Page of an Account item, all child items will be available to present a 360-degree view of an organization’s activities. Every action that is attached to a child item (such as a Task for a Project) of the Account (Parent) will roll up to be available from the related sub grids of this one location.

Below is an Example of an Account Display Form. This form has many elements, some of which are shown. This form is highly configurable, as all Flex forms are. Change the colours, fields, sections and order of Sub Grids.

You can change the name of the Accounts List if another term is more in line with your business. Refer to the “Changing a List Name” section of this Guide for more information.

Throughout Flex, whenever the “Account” is shown on a related child Display form, such as a Contact or Interaction, the Account item’s action buttons are displayed to give easy access to information about the Account.

Action Icons are available to View, Edit, Show Item Summary, Quick Actions, Google Map and Copy to Clipboard.

The Account name and all the Action Icons are automatically enabled by the use of a macro called #companylinkedcompanyname# which is used on the relevant child item Display Web part form (as shown below).

For steps on configuring Display web part forms locate the Display Form and the New/Edit Form sections of this Guide.
