Once a search result is presented a number of actions can be performed based on the specific type of Item. For example, different actions are available for a Contact than an Account.
Tip: Hovering over each icon displays the function.
Actions that are enabled for each Item are controlled via the “CreateNewAndSearchManager“ setting. This Setting replaced the “CustomMenuSettings” in March 2016.
As of April 2016 you can shut all Action icons off with this one QuickSearchShowActionIcons Setting with a value of True. To reverse this Setting change the value back to False.
