Flex Tasks can be created from many locations including the New Item Wizard, Quick Actions, Action Bars, Sub-Grids, Quick Search and the Outlook Plugin.
Tasks can also be related to an Interaction by Creating a Task from the Interaction Display form or Sub-Grid:
If a Task is attached to an Interaction (as in the example below), the Interaction details are copied to the Task Display Form after it is created:
