By default, Flex is configured to copy down the Account’s address, phone number, and a few other Account field values. Thereafter these field values are changeable.
To change this behavior simply remove the Copy Down instructions in the New Contact form.
- Take steps to create a New Contact. This opens the New Form. Select “Edit Page” to put the form in Edit mode.
- Next select the “Open CRMEditNewForm properties” link to open the Web Part Editor.
- From the Web Part Editor, scroll down to locate the “Copy Down” section.
- Remove all rows that you wish to remove copy down values from the Account.
- Click “OK”, then “Stop Editing”.
