The Outlook Plugin connects Outlook to Flex. It does not synchronize items but rather it enables a variety of processing options for incoming and outgoing email, in which a connection is made to a Flex item in a comprehensive and flexible way.
Note: The Plugin toolbar can be configured to align with Flex and several features can be enabled/disabled (such as importing). Your toolbar may look slightly different than the ones displayed here. This section of the Guide will attempt to cover all the variety of options available.
The following screens display optional ways your Plugin can be displayed on the Main Outlook Toolbar.
The following screen has the Create New items removed using the CreateNewAndSearchManager Setting.
The following screens contain optional ways the Toolbar may appear inside an Email Message. For example there are no Import options but there is a “View in Flex” option.
The following screen contains the options available for an Outlook Appointment/Meeting which is available on the inner toolbar.
The following screen contains the functionality for Contact items and is only available on the inner toolbar.
