This feature adds value by automatically totaling the number of interactions attached to an item. This feature can be added to any Parent Custom List, along with any standard Flex list.
This function relies on a Number field called “Total Interactions” being present in the List Settings for each list.
Add the row shown below to the “UpdateTotalFields” Advanced Flex Setting for each list that will have the Total Interactions feature added. Syntax is “ParentListName|ChildListName|FieldName”.
Remember to Reset Cache when making changes to a Setting.
Now, when you add new Interactions to a parent item, they will be counted and added to the total.
