The Quick Search is designed to find stored Flex details whilst also enabling the creation of new items quickly and efficiently. It can be configured to search for key field data and display results such as Accounts and their related Contacts, Projects and Opportunities.
The Quick Search also enables the creation of new items such as Tasks, Interactions and Emails or can be used to find and edit existing items.
It is located at the top right corner of every Flex page.
The Quick Search was updated in April 2016. The 2016 Quick Search performs the same functions as the previous Quick Search but it is faster.
Note: as of February 2017 update this new Quick Search will be defaulted to true. No requirement to add the Setting.
