This is a list of the most common issues encountered when performing imports and updates.
- Corrupt characters in an Excel file. Check phone number formats. Look closely at the data for odd characters and spacing that may not be immediately apparent. Save to CSV and back to xls.
- Incorrect Site URL is being used. Check the Syntax.
- SSL is required and not selected on the Login page.
- Incorrect Username, Password or Domain is used. Try “Use Current Windows Credentials” if SharePoint logins are not working.
- Incorrect linking. Every Child import must have a Parent and a field that links them together both in Flex and the Import file. Rethink the logic of your configurations.
- For AutoRun Updates presenting errors or issues, a change in the file name or location has likely taken place.
